Ocean View Lodge is a place of fantasy and whimsy, a child’s dream.
There are two adobe-sculptured “ocean beds” four feet off the ground, with winding staircases. The building is five-sided, yurt-shaped, with a skylight in the middle. There is a sink with cold running water. The Vati-can, a composter toilet which several folks have confused for a chapel sanctuary, is several feet away, on the deck.
The deck has a fountain and a view of the pond/mountains. It is very close to the main hall lodge, and forty yards from the shower-house/hot tub.
